By submitting the Art of Giving Foundation Artist Grant Application, you understand that not everyone gets chosen and not every project gets funded in its entirety. If your project exceeds the maximum grant amount of $5,000, that doesn't necessarily mean your project will not be partially funded. If your project is less than the grant, you don't have to return the remainder of the funded monies, that is yours to keep.
Winners are chosen at the 2023 Art of Giving Foundation Black Tie Gala. All finalists must attend or be disqualified. Artists that make it to the finals must participate in a short video shoot in which each artist is asked to explain their project and why they should be chosen for the grant. This video will be played at the gala.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, live in or within 30 miles of Chicago, IL, and be physically able to paint a mural within the next 12 months.
